Sykes Pumps looking ahead to Hillhead 2018

The world’s largest working quarry exhibition takes place at Hillhead, near Derbyshire, between the 26-28 June, where Sykes Pumps will be showcasing our products and services for the first time.

This year’s exhibition is of huge significance to the company as we’ll be using it to launch two new innovations and round off our 160^th anniversary celebrations.

Hillhead provides us with a fantastic platform from which to introduce two units which we believe will change the face of the pump hire industry forever. Visitors to our stand (CE13) will get a first glimpse of these groundbreaking products, and these will be accompanied by a fully functional  Henry Sykes steam engine which was previously part of our hire fleet over a century ago!

We’ll be joined by more than 500 plant, equipment and service providers and look forward to having the opportunity to integrate with the key decision makers of these businesses.

In April, Hillhead organisers announced that the exhibition was officially sold out with the event set to be 10% larger than the corresponding exhibition in 2016.

At Sykes Pumps, we’re incredibly proud of our heritage and roots, but also our reputation for adapting to an everchanging market and constantly adding new products that help us stay on top of industry trends.
